Co-creating an interchangeable color wheel system and additional warm and cool earthtone sets, took my packaging chops to another level. From inception, through design and intricate die cuts, to custom snaps that cleverly hold wheels inside, Beverly Ash Gilbert and I worked through it all. Carol Muzik’s story about raising an orphaned baby goose is a multi-media situation. Here she created a coloring storybook with a bonus video presentation. Carol drew detailed line drawings that I scanned and retouched, along with book and video design and video titling.

Working with my community for Habitat for Humanity has been an honor. Their annual benefit breakfast shares uplifting success stories of deserving families and asks us
to join them in support of making a difference beyond measure. For four years, I contributed to key messaging and provided design work to help convey a message of building hope, pride and community. This piece is a personal favorite.

RAISING LUCY

One of many collaborative pieces with author, illustrator, ‘goose mom’, Carol Muzik, was in the publishing of her amazing true story of raising an orphaned wild goose. Carol wrote and artistically illustrated the story, and then digitally painted in rich, saturated tones. I designed the cover and pages to immerse readers with the magical feeling of raising Lucy from innocent orphan to her full, wild, potential.
